The Cooking School Uganda (TCSUg) is one of the leading cookery schools in Africa offering inspirational cookery courses, food and catering services, customized organic spices, organic groceries and culinary literature at the hands of renowned professional chefs. The school and Catering services are founded by renowned International chef and TV presenter on the leading TV station in Uganda (NTV), Wanyama Henry.

For 4 years now, together with my team at the cooking school, I have produced and presented the TV Show “Kitchen Delight” under our professional kitchen studio. The program runs on NTV every Sunday at 4:30 as “NTV Kitchen Delight” and this is the leading culinary show in Uganda currently. DSTV’s channel 154 (African Magic) also runs independent shows from the same setting by CSU every Tuesday at 7:00PM and Wednesday 12:00PM. Kitchen delight has also grown as a brand on DSTV’s Maisha channel. All the three TV shows are a product of CSU

In March 2015, I was selected with my team as the Ugandan Representatives at the French Government organised “1000 Chefs, 1000 menus” at Sheraton hotel. In August 2014, I was the Chief Chef responsible for training national chefs in the campaign “National Chefs cooking with Soy” organised by the World initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) in conjunction with SESACO

We are in the final stages of the books “Chefs’ Pocket Kitchen” and “See it , Like it, Make it” which are personal guides to viewers and students on different recipes.

In addition to this, we provide the following list of services to hotels and lodges:

1- Menu improvement 2- Sharing and Improving Chef skills 3- Internship programs for hotel chefs 4- Chef provision after screening

Still at the international level, we attended the Food Network chefs’ get together in South Africa where I was able to co-chef with renowned chef and presenter Siba Mtongana. In China, Egypt, Israel and Turkey, we have partnered with chefs in organizing community cooking (commonly known as Kibuts)
