- The Itanda falls
Located some 30km for Jinja town, Itanda falls is tucked away in a bush and is known to Kayaker’s and rafters including Prince William of Great Britain. This stretch of the Nile is easily one of the most hidden jewels of Uganda. The rapids are in three grades. A trip to the scenic waterfalls is about 45 minutes from Jinja town.
- Kagulu Hill
A magnificent solid rock towers to the height of more than 3000 feet in Buyende District. The newly discovered must-visit attraction sits in one of the five traditional principalities of the Kingdom of Busoga called Bugabula. With the Busoga Tourism initiative, rock climbing is a must at this site. A top the hill, one views Busoga and the scenic waterfalls from the rocks, the ancient caves and Lake Kyoga at a confluence with river Nile.
- Simba Safari Camp
Simba Safari Camp is located right on the boarder of Queen Elizabeth National Park and only two kilometers from the Equator. More travelers are discovering this amazing safari camp with competitive prices and a fantastic location. One part is overlooking the scenic crater lakes and plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, while on the other side the high peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains stand out against the horizon.
