Ugandan Film Nominated in Colombian Awards
A Ugandan short film, Time Irreversible has been nominated in three categories at a Colombian film awards. The Rolda WebFest is a film festival in Roldanillo, Colombia, that seeks to recognize high artistic level projects that have been created and showcased on the internet .
Over 30 films and web series from Europe and South America are competing in various categories in the awards.
Time Irreversible is produced by Ugandan cinematographer George Stanley Nsamba known for short films like Crafts the Value of Life, Silent Depression and the Dummy Team was elated by the news.
In a post on his Facebook page, this is what George Nsamba had to say:
“Time Irreversible may be less than a week old but has already scooped 3 nominations at the Rolda WebFest a film festival in Roldanillo, Colombia. Over 30 films and web series mostly from Europe and South America are competing and im glad that we are holding it for team Uganda as one of only 3 African countries to have a film there”.

Time irreversible which was released recently highlights how the AIDS scourge is affecting the youth in Uganda.
